Stegosaurus and Triceratops knitted soft toys

These adorable dinosaurs have been designed to be easy to knit and suitable for beginners. The pattern is easy to follow with plenty of pictures to help understand the shape of parts, and putting them together.

After a new arrival in our wider family, I (Tim) was motivated to make a soft toy as a gift. I enjoyed it so much that I made a few more soft toy gifts. I enjoyed this so much that I started designing some myself. I wanted to create something that allowed a child to use their imagination and so I based the animals on a simple shape, and focused on the main characteristics of each animal, such as the stegosaurus's back plates and the triceratops horns and frill.

These dinosaurs make a wonderful gift for any newborn, child, loved one, friend or maybe just for yourself!

When finished each dinosaur measures 19cm long and uses Sport/DK Light yarn
