Staruman the ram sheep

With this easy pattern, you can make Staruman, a cute and curly sheep (ram). Don’t let his complicated look fool you because he is just as easy to make as most of my patterns. Crocheting the body and horns only takes a bit more time.

Size: 6 inch/ 15,5 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.

The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.

Materials: 3 colours of worsted weight yarn: dark brown (1/5 of a 100 yard skein), beige (1/3) and murky brown (1/8). You will also need fibrefill and pellets for extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result for both the eye patches and loop stitches.
