Product Description
Here I show you how I made this particular Spirit of the Sea Collar bought by a dearheart from the INNER WILD etsy shop. I used Araucania Toconao aran weight yarn but you can choose any yarn and needle size to create your version.
Spirit of the Sea Collar is a great statement piece that can be rustic prairie handspun or glam jewellery {beaded silk, metallic, lurex or leather yarn anyone?} depending on your creative vision.
What about making it cape length and fixing with a huge Celtic brooch? Or knitting it entirely in the round as a capelet with many rows of ribbing up your neck?
Use wool from your stash or leftover from a sweater project to make a matching collar for an existing garment you’ve created.
The pattern includes the formula to create your Spirit of the Sea Collar in any size with any yarn from fingering to bulky using any needle size. Oh, the joy of liberating your creative flow.
