Cozy is made in two pieces, which are then sewn together.
If you use your yarn VERY economically, you may be able to get by with one ball of yarn, especially if you are planning on using a ribbon for the tie. It will be very close, and I recommend buying two balls in case of mistakes or knots in the yarn. I had to use small amount of a second ball to finish the cozy. The actual yardage is approx. 110-115 yards.
Crochet hook is used for optional crochet chain tie. You can also use a ribbon or make i-cord for the tie if desired.
