When you are left confused as to what to do with those wee leftovers from a big project, spin them around a hat for a pop of colour.

Spin features a twisted traveling slip stitch, that circles partway around that hat making it a great way to use up some of those extra bits of your special yarn you can't quite bring yourself to let of.

This free pattern is written for 8ply/DK weight yarn, and to fit a newborn, approximately 3-4kg (7-9lb) in weight, with an head circumference of 35cm.

Requires approx 60 metres of main colour and 10 metres of contrast colour.
