1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, there are no complicated stitches: SC, HDC, post stitches
2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right handed crocheter

5. S- child (3-5) – fits head circumference up to 18”
6. M- child (6-12) – fits head circumference up to 20”
7. L- teen- fits head circumference up to 22”
8. XL- adult- fits head circumference 23”-24”
9. This pattern was tested with Red Heart Super Saver yarns only
10. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
11. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
12. Stitches in brackets are repeated by number of times following the bracket
13. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
