Spiced Biscuits Blanket

This pattern is written in English and it contains step by step photos.

This blanket is full of colour and texture. I called this blanket the Spiced Biscuits Blanket because it reminds me of beautifully decorated colourful spiced biscuits, which I remember from my childhood. When you start working your squares and you complete the first four rounds, you will see what I mean, it does look like a biscuit.

Skill level: Intermediate

Materials:

DK/light worsted yarn, 10 x 100g balls in five colours. This particular blanket used Stylecraft Special DK yarn in: white, parchment, gold, duck egg, burgundy.

4mm (US G/6) crochet hook

Yarn needle

Scissors

I used five colours of DK/light worsted yarn, however this blanket could be worked in as little as two colours, or even one, or it could be a great stash buster. The finished blanket measures 120cm x 120cm, and weighs approx. 912g. I used 2675m/2925yards of yarn.
