About This Design

Speranza is a meaningful knitted cowl created by designer Monique Leonard and inspired by a personal story of hope and resilience. The design was developed together with the designer's young child, who selected both the luxurious yarn and the beautiful arrowhead lace stitch pattern from stitch dictionaries. Named after the Italian word for "hope," this cowl was crafted to provide warmth and comfort during difficult times. A portion of proceeds from each pattern purchase supports cancer charities, beginning with the American Cancer Society.

Sizing Options

• Small: 24.5 inches [62 cm] wide by 12.5 inches [32 cm] tall with optional lace edging; 11 inches [28 cm] deep without the optional edging
• Large: 60 inches [152.5 cm] wide by 7 inches [18 cm] tall with optional lace edging; 5.5 inches [14 cm] deep without the optional edging
