Soft Rivers Cowl

Soft Rivers is a cowl with a memorable repeat comprised of reversible cables and simple eyelets, creating a delicate yet cushy winter accessory. The cables and lofty yarn give it the ability to keep you warm, yet the small lace pattern between the cables keeps it lightweight and easy to squish into your favorite coat.

The cowl is easily adjustable in length, as it is worked lengthwise and Kitchener-ed together to create a continuous pattern around. Working more or less cable and lace repeats will make it easy enough to adjust width-wise as well, if a thicker or skinnier version is desired. The version pictured is 22” in length around and 10” wide, and knit using 1 and 1/4 skeins of Woolfolk Sno in Navy and Black.
