Product Description
Nothing screams Halloween like a Jack-o'-lantern. These socks feature a textured Jack-o'-lantern pattern on the front of the legs. The texture is all made out of knit and purl stitches, so it's very easy to follow and quick to knit. These socks are designed to look like regular day-to-day socks with a touch of Halloween. Seeing as the pattern is very easy with no fancy or difficult stitches, these are the perfect project for a Halloween horror movie night. The pattern has written instructions and a chart for the textured stitches.
Sample was made using 2 skeins of Coop Knits Socks Yeah! (75% merino, 25% nylon, 212m/231yds, 50 g per skein) in the Almandine colourway. Any fingering weight sock yarn can be used, but for this type of pattern a solid colour is recommended to make sure the texture is visible.
To be worn with 2.5cm / 1” negative ease at the widest part of the foot.
