Snowball Beanie with Optional Lining

One of the joys of winter time are snowball fights. Childhood memories of snowballs flying through the air gave me the idea for this hat. Knit in chunky yarn, it is a very quick project to complete. The stitch creates a beautiful 3-D effect of round bumps on a contrasting background, which remind me of snowballs! The stitch is easy to learn and doesn't involve colour changes within a row.
