Snow Forest

The Snow Forest is a magical place where time seems to stand still. Lotta found the forest one summer's day, when her daily walk took her in a new directiion. Nestled in the tall trees, she discovered a long abandoned log cabin.

Over the next few months, she spent every spare moment bringing the little house back to life. By the time the first fluffy white snowflakes began to fall, Lotta and her faithful dog Stig, had made this incredible place their own.

The Snow Forest socks are a design that reflect the feeling of Lotta's special home. The lace panel down each leg depicts the tall pine trees and many paths that wind through the forest.

The socks are worked cuff down, and feature a beautifully fitting afterthought heel. There is a video tutorial included within the pattern showing how to cut in the heel. The design also features my Umbrella Heel.

The socks are knitted using a skein of fingering weight yarn from The Wool Barn, in 'Nougat'. The design somes in 3 sizes.
