Snood knitting pattern

Create a cosy, stylish snood with this easy ribbed knitting pattern, worked completely in the round on circular needles for a neat, seamless finish.

This simple adult snood is knitted in K2, P2 rib, giving it plenty of stretch and a soft, comfortable fit around the neck. Best of all, there is no sewing required — once you cast off, you only need to weave in the ends.

The pattern uses approximately 50g of DK yarn, making it a lovely one-ball project and a great choice for using a favourite plain, tweed or variegated yarn. The multicoloured sample shown was made using a warm autumnal colourway, but the design works beautifully in almost any shade.
