Stranded fair isle is one of the most revered traditions in knitting. If, like many knitters, you shrink at the thought of carrying all those colors of yarn (oh, the tangling!) and the need for perfect floats (hello, puckering!), I see you. Finally, here is a pattern for two different faux fair isle hats made using just one color per row! No magic spells required.

The pattern includes instructions for two different colorwork patterns.
