Product Description
Sizing Baby (Child, S, M, L, XL) Wear with approx 2.5 to 5cm (1 to 2in) negative ease compared to head circumference.
Some sizes have the same circumferences but different depths. If you’re choosing between two sizes with the same circumference, measure from the top of your neck, over your head to 2.5cm (1in) below the hairline at your forehead. Pick the size with the hat depth nearest to half this measurement.
Yarn The original sample was knitted in stash yarns, which are listed in the pattern if you want to copy them exactly. I recommend using DK wool with approx 105m/115yds per 50g/ 1.75oz ball. You’ll need: 45 (65, 75, 85, 105, 115) m/ 49 (71, 82, 93, 115, 126) yds in Brown 10 (15, 17, 17, 20, 20) m/ 11 (16, 19, 19, 22, 22) yds in White Approx 50m in Red (pom pom size will affect this) Small amounts in Black and Green.
Skills needed Knitting, purling, decreasing, working in the round, stranded colourwork, working from a chart, easy crochet.
