Simple Tote Bag

Minimalistic knit tote bag, which look can be easily changed by adding fringes. Will be perfect as a shopping bag, farmers market tote, beach bag, or boho tote. Quick and easy but interesting project because of some basic crochet stitches used for finishing.

Basic skills required:

Knitting: knits, purls, picking up stitches, work in rows and rounds, Crochet: chain stitch, slip stitch.

length: 42 cm/16.5 in

width: 39 cm/15.4 in

straps: 42 cm/16.5 in

Materials:

Cotton cord/super bulky yarn (cat. 6): 150m/164 yards (200 m/219 yards for version with fringes), 100 m~500 g,

Circular knitting needles 12 mm/US 17 at least 80 cm/31,5" long,

Crochet hook 12 mm/US P-16,

Sewing thread and needle to sew cord,

Scissors, stitch marker
