Product Description
This dramatic hand dyed mohair poncho is knit side to side, one piece.
The yarn used is Fleece Artist Mini Kid and only 2 (125g/500m) skeins were used (with some left over). This is a very easy knit that makes the most of hand painted yarn.
PATTERN DETAILS This garment is very oversize PDF: 4 pages, color front cover Metric and imperial measurements, schematic, b/w flat photo Rated: easy Skills required: knit/purl, 1X1 rib, pick up sts, work in rounds for collar only Materials required: approx 1000 m/ 1094 yds of chunky gauge mohair yarn, or other light and airy fibre (brushed, fluffy or hairy) long pair of needles 10mm/15 circ needles: 5mm/8- 60cm/24ins long (for collar only) and 6mm/10- 60cm/24 ins long (for collar and sleeve cuffs- worked back and forth - straight pair could be used) large stitch holders, yarn needle (sew sleeve cuff seams)
Tension gauge: 10 sts and 12 rows = 10 cm / 4" over St st with 10mm needle and 17 sts and 20 rows = 10 cm / 4" over 1 x 1 rib with 6mm needles.
