Shrimp / krill NAPOLEON

So tiny, yet so self-confident (if not to say megalomaniac): Napoleon the Krill might be a lightweight, but he knows very well that the eco system of the oceans is doomed without him, albeit he doesn‘t like the fact that his extended krill family is the start of the food chain. But then, there is always a downside. As long as he is clever enough to escape the blue whales, Napoleon consideres himself as the most important being in the universe!

My Napoleon measures approximately 19 cm = 7.5 inches from head to tail – which is far to big for the real animal. You might try to knit him in much thinner yarn :-)

Der Kleine mit der großen Klappe: Obwohl Krill Napoleon winzig und federleicht ist, hält er sich für den Mittelpunkt der Welt – daher auch sein Name. Er weiß eben, dass ohne ihn und seine Millionen und Abermillionen Geschwister gar nichts geht auf der Erde. Denn ohne die riesigen Krillschwärme würde das Ökosystem der Meere ganz schnell zusammenbrechen.
