Actually, I was given this idea by my teenager daughter. She told me: "The Sherlock wallpaper is cool so I would like to get something like it". I thought: it would be interesting to many teens like my lovely one :) I've got some brilliant feedback from people that have seeing the Project development at facebook.
Materials:
Patons 100% cotton 4ply 100g 330m 360 yds OR Patons Fairytale Fab 4ply 100% acrylic 50g 184m 201 yds OR King Cole Giza 4ply 100% cotton 50g 160m 175yds OR any kind of the same yardage cotton/ wool yarn;
a small amount of any yellow yarn for embroidered smiley.
To knit the hat, you will need* *35 grams of black yarn for the hat, 51 grams of white yarn for the hat and 22 grams of white yarn for the pompom if you decide to make it.
