Shades of Leaves Shawl

I designed this crescent shaped shawl with the colors of Autumn and Spring in mind. It uses 5 colors of gradient shades of sock yarn. The color transition is worked in 3 rows of seed st. This gives a slight rick-rack sort of transition between the colors.

Finished Size: Unblocked 38” wide by 13” deep, blocked 51” wide by 17 1/2” deep

Materials 5 colors of Sock or fingering weight yarn, approximately (418 yards total) Contrasting Color #1 (CC1) -- 35 yards CC2 -- 50 yards CC3 -- 80 yards CC4 -- 120 yards CC5 -- 133 yards 29” Circular needle, size 7 (4.50 mm) or size needed for gauge

GAUGE: In Stockinette Stitch, 20 sts and 28 rows = 4”
