Finished Measurements 38 (44, 47, 51.25, 56, 61, 64)”/96.5 (112, 119.5, 130, 142, 155, 162.5) cm circumference at hip. Intended ease: + 8-10”/20-25 cm. Shown in size M (47”/119.5 cm) on 37”/94 cm bust with 10”/25 cm of positive ease.
Gauge 23 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch (St st) on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, after blocking. 32 sts of Saddle chart = 4.25”/11 cm.
Tools Size US 4 (3.5 mm): 24-32” (60-80) cm circular (circ); size US 3 (3.25 mm): 24-32” (60-80 cm) and 16” (40 cm) circ. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. 6 markers, cable needle (cn), tapestry needle, 2 stitch holders.
Materials Sport weight yarn (approximate amounts): 990 (1072, 1155, 1430, 1595, 1667, 1842) yards /905 (980, 1056, 1308, 1458, 1524, 1684) m. For the sample I have used The Plucky Knitter Primo Sport (75% Superwash Merino, 20% Cashmere, 5% Nylon; 275 yds (251 m) / 100g); Cold As Ice: 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins.
