This Christmas stocking incorporates one of the larger star\/rose style motifs with borders of “endless roses” both at the top of the stocking and the toe.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTechniques include broken rib for the cuff at the top of the stocking, knitting with two colors at the same time and catching floats, working a flap heel, round toe and an I-cord hanging loop.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is a generously sized stocking with a finished size of about 16 inches around and 24 inches top to toe. This stocking is worked in a heavy worsted weight but a finer yarn could be used to make a smaller stocking.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eYarn: Heavy Worsted Weight – Main Color - red 4oz\/200yds, Contrast Color - white 2.5oz\/125yds.
