The Seafarer’s Cowl is a one skein, bulky cowl that can be worn cuffed turtleneck-style or up for more coverage. The adult “Captain’s” version fits both men and women while the “First Mate’s” version fits your feline or small canine. Instructions for both versions are provided. Knit in the round on double-pointed needles, this is a wonderful beginner’s project or a mindless one that works up quickly for the more experienced. Pick out a soft yarn and make several to keep by the door and in the car (or yacht) for cold weather.
