School Spirit pillow

A fun college-ready accessory that will remind your student just how much you love them! Knit in a lovely worsted-weight acrylic that’s washable, this pillow uses a 12-inch pillow form and knits up quickly on US #7s. Knit in the round all in one piece, this is a GREAT colorwork project.

MATERIALS: • 70 yards each of three school colors – sample used Lion Brand’s Heartland (142g, 251yds, 100% acrylic) in “Grand Canyon”, “King’s Canyon”, and “Bryce Canyon“. NOTE: this design will allow you to make approximately three pillows with the three skeins of yarn. • US #7 circs – 20-inches long • US #7 or smaller circ (to slide half of the sts to hold for 3-nbo) • One dpn, US #7 or smaller to work the 3-nbo • 2 stitch markers to mark side edges • One US “E” crochet hook (to close bottom of pillow) • One 12-inch square pillow form
