I bought this yarn with the intention of knitting a cardigan, but I could tell as soon as I started to use it that it will felt readily, as it says in the description, so was not the right choice. Instead I am using it to make room pouches to send to Australia!
Not as chunky as I had expected, but a lovely yarn. Shedding a bit too, but that's not too surprising.
Bought this to make some felted slippers, amd they turned out amazingly! The pattern wanted a finer yarn held double, but just didnt have the depth of colour that these do. Everyone loves my new jester slippers, sadly even the dog who steals them off of my feet! They felted great, on a normal 40 wash with some towels in. The trick is to do it on a hot day, or when the fire is going, and put them on wet. This way they mould to your feet for the best fitting slippers ever!
I'm using this for a felted bag. Can't wait to get started.
