Product Description
Sandstone is a lovely cowl with snug fit and pretty colourwork.
Knitted in the round from the bottom up, Sandstone features simple lace and an easy mosaic pattern. It’s a quick knit with worsted weight yarn, and a wonderful project for trying out mosaic knitting. This project is also a fun way to play with colour combinations. Choose subtle, natural shades like used in the sample, or have fun with happy and bright colours.
YARN: Two colours of worsted weight yarn (130 m / 142 yds of C1 & 130 m / 142 yds of C2). Shown in The Fibre Co. Cumbria (90% Wool, 10% Mohair; 216 m / 236 yds per 100 g), colours Hadrian’s Wall (C1) and Scafell Pike (C2).
NEEDLE: Size 4,5 mm / US 7 - 60 cm / 24 inch circular needle AND Size 5 mm / US 8 - 60 cm / 24 inch circular needle (for mosaic knitting).
STITCHES USED: knit, purl, slip, yo, k2tog.
