I settled on one titled, “Rushing Home.” The name seemed appropriate, given our separation, and it featured children dashing through the rain, sheltered under large green banana leaves, a nice tie to the name of the town I was standing in. The picture is alive – it’s all too easy to imagine the children darting back and forth, dodging traffic and rain. The slipped stitches on these toe-up socks dart and dodge in the same way.
