The designing of the Rumple Socks has a fairy tale beginning. My daughter recently discovered, and then fell in love with the TV show 'Once Upon A Time'. Her favourite character quickly emerged to be the fabulous Rumplestiltskin/Mr Gold.
After many weekends of watching the series progress, my thoughts turned to designing a pair of socks inspired by the love of all things Rumple.
These socks were a joy to desgn, and to knit and are perfectly unisex so you can happily knit Rumple Socks for all of your family !
The pattern is both written and charted and contains 2 different heel options. There is a standard heel flap and turn, and also my Butterfly Heel which is a mock short row heel - no short rows needed ! The pattern contains a video tutorial for this heel method.
