Ruffles the Clown Bear

Say hello to Ruffles! This sweet little bear is dressed as a harlequin clown, ready to bring some joy and thrills in the Big Top. This chequered bear is deceptively easy to make as you don’t need any experience with tricky colour-work, you just need to know how to change colour at the end of a row to knit stripes. The chenille yarns add a fluffy finishing touch to collars and cuffs. This knitting pattern uses acrylic DK yarns and single pointed needles (work flat, not in the round). Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bear in the hat stands at 27cm tall. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
