Rude Kids Shawl

Rude Kids is a 2-color triangular shawl knit bottom up, and consists of a graphic checkerboard pattern with a squared sawtooth edging. It's best with 2 high contrast colors in a fingering/sock weight.

It's inspired by the yarn "Boys Will Be Girls" dyed by Manic Punk Fibers, which was in turn inspired by the song of ska band We Are the Union, an anthem for trans rights and representation.

$1 of every pattern sold will be donated to the National Center for Transgender Equality.

This pattern is knit flat on a circular/cable needle, and includes both written and charted instructions.
