This makes them ideal for anyone with a non-skinny leg as it allows the socks to come up over the widest part of the calf and not be stretched out.  The rib keeps the socks gently snug. The socks are knit toe-up with a bit of ribbing at the top.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAll the cables are fully charted with additional line-by-line instructions for each chart.  This is a 7 page, very detailed pattern with 3 major and 2 supplementary charts!
