Rooster Baby Blanket

This would be the perfect Baby Shower or New Born gift for the Rooster Baby of 2017.  It is a simple and quick pattern with Stocking Stitch body and a Garter Stitch border, and you can use either the Intarsia or Duplicate Stitch technique to work the Rooster colour pattern into the blanket.  The pattern provides both text and chart instruction so you can work on either one depending on which technique you are more comfortable with. 

**The Size: **Approx. 60 x 60 cm (23.6 x 23.6 in) 

Yarn: KPC Yarn, Novomerino Aran (100% ultra fine merino wool, 50g ball, 75m/82yds)

• Colour A (MC) - Ivory x 250g
• Colour B - Sherbert x 10g 4 ply + 10g DK 
• Colour C - Black x 10g
• Colour D - Mango x 10g
• Colour E - Vermillion x 50g
• Colour F - Forest Fruit x 50g

Needles:

• 5 mm knitting needles (circular or straight)
• 6 mm knitting needles (circular or straight) for casting on & off

**The Tension / Gauge: **16 stitches and 25 rows to 10 cm (4in), over stocking stitch using 6mm needles
