Riddikulus Ankle Boot Cuffs

A cushioning layer under ankle boots, the Riddikulus boot cuffs are designed for a 4-ply sock yarn with a guide to adjusting the pattern for a finer 2-ply (Lace) or slightly thicker DK (Double-knitting) and aran (worsted) weight yarns. The cuffs are knit in 2x2 rib on double-pointed needles. Example 4-ply yarns that would be suitable include West Yorkshire Spinner's Signature 4-ply, Regia's 4-ply sock wool or Adriafil's Calzasocks (pictured in grey). There are instructions for a plain ankle cuff and a cuff with a single stripe.
