Who says beautiful has to be complicated? When I decided to take my brand to the next level by creating a logo for tags, I knew I wanted a hat that was completely original to unveil and compliment my new signature tags. This is how the Rhys Beanie (formerly known as my HJK Signature Beanie), was born. Being one of my first knit patterns, I have kept it to myself for years, but I decided it was time to share! When I designed this pattern, I just picked up my needles and made it up as I went, adding layers to it like a cake. I envisioned something completely different in my head (due to my beginner knitting brain), but I immediately fell in love with how it was working up. I call it a happy accident! This hat is completely beginner friendly, and I hope you love making it as much as I do. This pattern is written for holding 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together at once, but you can also use one strand of bulky (4) yarn instead. This will just change the feel of the material.
