Reversible Tunisian Shawl

A completely reversible Shawl that is created using a Double-ended Tunisian Crochet Hook and reversible Tunisian Crochet techniques, finished with a simple Double Crochet border along each long side to neaten the selvedge edged. Its large size makes it very versatile: it can be worn multiple ways as a Shawl, or as a bulky Scarf.

Because of how the Stitches are worked, one side has wide stripes of colour A with thin stripes of colour B, and the other side has wide stripes of colour B, and thin stripes of colour A. Choose any 2 colours that complement or contrast each other, and you will have an amazingly colourful and comfortable Shawl.

An 8.0mm Double-ended Tunisian Crochet Hook is used to create the Shawl, and a 6.0mm Crochet Hook is needed for the Border.
