It uses 3 strands of yarn in different colors to create texture, but you can use 1 color if you choose. If using 1 color 2 strands are all that is needed. Used size 4 yarn. This was done on standard Knifty Knitter 36 peg circular loom. You can use Boye circular loom, and if you use it for Martha Stewart loom make sure you use large pegs when making it.
