Real Life

The inspiration for the sweater: real life. Sunshine streams through the window, alarm clock beeping. The aroma of fresh coffee fills the house. Jeans on, sandals found, sweater hanging by the door tossed on. Car keys jingle, door locks. The post office quietly hums, mail tossed onto the car seat. Farmer’s market produce, fresh and local, purchased and loaded into trunk. Back home down the tree lined streets. Joy is taken in the small, nondescript moments, and comfort is found in a basic sweater.
