Rainy Day Cap was indeed a fun cap to knit. The different mix of stitches kept it interesting gave the cap a bit of pizzazz! I knit for charity Rainy Day Cap was included in the selection of patterns. I certainly will be using it again. Thank You!

A quick project to knit on a rainy day – or wear it to keep warm whatever the weather. Purl stitches create a petal shape on the crown.
Depending on the yarn used the yardage requirements differ greatly. Cascade Yarns Heritage Solids is a heavy sock yarn, and produced a very solid cap, but required 350 yards; Crystal Palace Mini Mochi is much lighter, needing only about 175 yards.
Pattern is both written and charted.
