Quietude Shawl

Quietude is a shawl inspired by the stillness and beauty of nature. Shaped with three panels, stockinette side panels highlight a centre of diamond lace which grows like a mountain coming into view on the horizon. A single bead at the bottom of each lace motif accentuates the border colour, like shiny pebbles dotted along the path. A classic ribbed border in a contrasting yarn adds a clear road to the end of your shawl. A solid colour for the body of the shawl is best, but the border can stand up to variegated yarns.
