Pumpkin Harvest Hat

It's an easy hat to knit, a fun one to wear, and perfect for the fall season when temperatures drop, the smell of pumpkin pie fills the air, and jack 'o lanterns appear on the scene.

The hat is knit on a circular and double pointed needles. The pattern includes written instructions, a chart and photos, plus gift tags to print and tie onto your hats. I used #4 Red Heart Supersaver worsted yarn because of the vibrant colors, but any equivalent weight wool, acrylic or blend with a gauge of 4 to 4.25 stitches per inch (16-17 stitches = 4"/10 cm) will work.

You will need 1.3 to 2.7 ounces Pumpkin color yarn (depending on hat size), plus a small amount (10 grams) of Green.
