Poe

The entire time I was working on the Seven Sonnets I had Edgar Allan Poe in the back of my mind. He has always been one of my favorites and when I got my hands on the rich dark purple from Shalimar Yarns I immediately thought of bird wings. Raven wings.

This shawlette is worked from the top down in one piece with wings worked in a cable-garter pattern and a center section with cables and lace. The shaping for this shawlette works out to be half-circle/crescent shape. The instructions are in charted form only.
