This popular pattern is all over the place! I had a request from a pattern tester to create one that had a longer back. So, I went to work to figure out how to create the pattern!
I saw the iris stitch and thought it would be perfect for to use for this pattern! Then the border is created around all sides of the shawl for a more complete look and to give that longer back.
The iris stitch is created using double crochet and chain stitches. While, the border is completed in a double crochet and half double crochet with every other row doing the back loop only.
