Love my Plymouth yarn choice.

I have purchased Plymouth yarns in the past, and have always liked what I bought. Encore feels like a nice cozy yarn for the crocheted sweater I am making. The pattern is from a crochet pattern book that was published several years ago by a Canadian crochet designer. There are some lovely patterns in the book. This particular pattern called for Plymouth Encore. I was very happy to find that this yarn hadn't been discontinued. The yarn is easy to work with and gives good stitch definition.

My Favorite Worsted Acrylic

Plymouth Encore Acrylic has been my favorite worsted acrylic yarn for a long time. It has good loft and is washable and dryable. I use it for baby blankets, afghans, etc. My recent purchase has been used to crochet an American Flag which has turned out beautifully. I once had a problem with this yarn which I used for an afghan. After I washed it, it pilled terribly. My local yarn store returned it to Plymouth and they replaced the yarn I used. Have never had any problems with their yarn since....
