Pixie or Christmas Hat

The great thing about this hat is that you can wear it in a number of different ways. Roll up the cuff, pull the beanie over the ears, or sit the beanie towards the back of your head. I have included the six sizes to give you lots of options but I would suggest that if you are making this hat for an average size newborn that you make the 3-6 month size. I did this for my little boy, and while he was a newborn I rolled up the cuff, and after a couple months he fit beautifully in the hat with the cuff rolled down. He even could wear the same hat at almost 12 months with it sitting at the back of his head, and his ears poking out like a true little pixie.
