Its very soft and cosy, and so easy to put on and take off, the hood is nice and roomy and saves having to take a hat with you. Even on a warm Spring day this will be the little jacket to pop into your baby bag just in case it turns a little chilly, and its not too bulky to wear in the car seat as some coats are.
Of course you can change the colour range to make it ideal for a little boy too, and it comes in an 18" chest suitable for 3 to 6 months

Lovely design but incomplete instructions
I managed to knit this lovely jacket but it would have helped to have had instructions on how to make the buttonholes. I guessed how far from the jacket edge and how big to make them. I am a knitter of intermediate ability but this pattern would not be detailed enough for a less experienced knitter.
