Basic crochet skills are all that's needed to create these wonderful porcupines ( single crochet, single crochet decrease, and slip stitch, that's it!), as well as fiberfill and of course... toothpicks!!
They are very quick to work up and take very little yarn (40-50 yds total of your favorite colored worsted weight yarn cotton yarn).
These adorable creatures make wonderful hostess gifts or great for stocking stuffers too!
If you didn't add toothpicks, Pistachio & Pansy make wonderful baby toys.
Add a little catnip to the inside and you have great cat toys as well!!
