I got a request for a braided baby hat. So I first tried something in cheap Acrylic yarn. As I love the penguins so much I just put them on this hat. And it all worked out just fine.
The penguin baby cap has two earflaps with braids, a short ribbing and the paper doll like penguins on it.. At the top is a nice winter star pattern and a tiny yellow pompon. I had so much fun making it and still can't put it out of my hand :)
I knit the hat in Buttinette Versailles yarn. So if you are not in Germany, just take a look at the yarn specifications. Anything similar will do :)
I will make another one in pink for a friend expecting a girl in late October.
