Patons 4ply cotton is nice to knit with a washes well and plenty of colours to choose from , unfortunately the makers have now discontinued and companies are selling this item cheaper than the original price, have now been stocking up with the colours what are still available.

Lovely fine cotton 4ply yarn, with a slight sheen to it. It seems to be knitting up easily and doesn’t split. As the cardigan I’m knitting has a lace panel in it, it will need blocking and steaming when it’s finished and I’m hoping that will even out the stocking stitch too, as it’s not looking as smooth as when knitting with a wool yarn, but that could just be the nature of the yarn. I have used it before for crochet and it’s perfect for that.
