An update from my very 1st pattern for American Girl . I have designed it so that it can be a perfect fit for the slightly slimmer 18” dolls such as Journey Girls and Madame Alexander Dolls.
DESIGNER’S NOTES :The dress work in one piece until armhole division . There are 3 buttons at the back opening for easy dressing . The shoulders are seamed . The bolero work in one piece and the sleeve seams sew together . The purse and panties both are seamed .
SUPPLIES NEEDED :James C. Brett Twinkle Fashion DK 45 gm ( 147.6 yards ) for dress + pantiesStylecraft Eskimo DK 26 gm ( 44. 1 yards ) for bolero and 16 gm ( 31.4 yards ) for purse.
- Size 3.50mm ( US 4 ) knitting needles for dress and panties.
- Size 3.75 mm ( US 5 ) knitting needles for bolero and purse .
- buttons x 3
- Tapestry needle .
- Fashion chain for the straps for the purse .
