I'm using it for a cardigan for myself. I wanted something in pink, and I've used Paintbox cotton before, so I know it's a good yarn - and not just for summer! If a knitted cotton garment is looked after properly - washed as on the ball band - and it’s stored properly, then it keeps its shape. It’s on hold atm as I’m doing some test knitting.
This is my go-to yarn for amigurumi. I’ve also made some nice beach bags. It is sturdy, smooth, and doesn’t split easily as long as it’s stored properly. I have plastic boxes and make sure they’re NOT air tight for ventilation. Most importantly, the yarn needs to be in snug skein or ball so it’s not rubbing against itself or other items. Paintbox has a couple of colors that help make both Caucasian and darker hued skin. Also, banana cream makes a perfect blonde hair. There are so many colors to choose from for making clothes for the dolls.
I loved the colour and the feel of it. There’s something about crocheting with cotton. I made myself a patterned top. It looks good, I just need to block it to improve it even more.

I have purchased the pure cotton Paintbox to knit new born baby clothes, plus some for myself (not yet knitted mine). Its lovely and soft, perfect for a newborns delicate skin. I've been using various colours of this paintbox DK yarn for a large project recently, they're all fantastic. I always seem to create lots of fluff when working with cotton yarns but its minimal with this one, it knits up really nicely and the colours are true to what you order.
